Rare Gorilla Twins Surprise Staff at Burgers’ Zoo
When zoo keepers entered the Gorilla House at the Netherlands’ Burgers’ Zoo on June 13, they were taken by surprise: N’Gayla, the 20-year-old female Gorilla, had delivered twin babies overnight!

BFF: ”Hi, thanks for calling but I can’t talk right now, my dad flew here to help me move my storage unit into the new place.”
Me: “Your dad flew all the way to Florida from Seattle to help you move your storage unit?”
BFF: “Yeah. But we’re watching the US Open too so not getting much done.”
Me: “When my sister texted my dad today and wished him a happy Father’s Day, he replied ‘Thanks Joan!’ Which would have been fine if my sister’s name wasn’t Pam. Joan is our cousin.”
BFF: “He’s a delight.”
Me: Yes he is. So how about you go f*** yourself with all of your dad quality time and call me later.”
And then we died laughing.
One Father’s Day, in the confusing years between my parents’ divorce and my departure for college when my dad didn’t even try, I gave my mom this card. She was far from perfect, but she was always there, trying. She sends me a picture of it every year.
